On July 11, 2025, DAV Public School in the ECL Jhanjra Area organized a successful Plantation Drive. The event was led by mothers and children from the nursery section, who planted saplings of various fruit-bearing trees, including mango, plum, litchi, sapodilla, pomegranate, guava and jackfruit. This initiative aimed to promote Environmental Awareness and Sustainability among young students. The plantation drive not only beautified the school premises but also taught the children the importance of caring for nature. The programme was followed by the dance and music on the theme of Tree Plantation. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a commitment to nurture the planted saplings.
